Walkthrough [ ]

First Visit [ ]

There is a strange space station in this system, an anomaly outside of the day-to-day business of the Gek, Vy'keen and Korvax. It emits a strange signal, as if it is speaking directly and exclusively to me...

The mission begins once the Space Anomaly appears near the start of Alone Amidst the Stars. The player must board the object like they would a Space station, then speak to Nada and their Gek companion Specialist Polo. Afterward, the player must obtain Nanite Clusters from Iteration Helios, use those nanites to purchase a technology blueprint from a Technology Researcher, and browse the blueprints available at the Construction Research Station for Salvaged Data. To conclude the visit, the player must return to Nada and ask for exploration resources, Artemis Path guidance or Atlas Path guidance. Regardless of the choice made, the conversation will initiate the Atlas Path mission.

Nada and Polo's journey through time and space continues, at a pace only they understand. They remain in touch, and will happily come to visit any location I bring to their attention.

Use the Quick Menu ([default binding]) to send a signal to the Space Anomaly.

As the player is directed back toward Alone Amidst the Stars, they will be given the ability to summon the Space Anomaly to most locations in space. This function, accessed via the Quick Menu, will be necessary for progressing the mission further when the player is further along in the Artemis Path.

Subsequent Visits [ ]

Upon the conclusion of certain events in the Artemis Path (see the mission pages for the triggering events), The Space Anomaly will update, usually becoming the tracked mission when the player first enters space after the update. Whenever this occurs, the player is usually eligible for a one-time Quicksilver and Nanite reward which can be claimed by speaking to Nada concerning story events. As well, Polo will offer unique dialogue concerning these events along with their usual Atlas Station and Black Hole location services.

Rewards [ ]

  • Unrestricted access to the Space Anomaly
  • 150 Quicksilver per visit (most mission updates after the first)
  • 80 Nanites per visit (most mission updates after the first)

Release history [ ]

  • ??? - Added to the game as a primary mission.
  • Beyond - Mission completely reworked
    • See The Space Anomaly (NEXT) for the pre-Beyond version of the mission
